Today I am going to share with you one of the most beautiful of the world's wonders.
Rio Caño Cristales, more commonly known as "The River of Five Colors" or "The Liquid Rainbow" has been referred to as "the river that ran away from paradise".
It is a Columbian River located in the Serrania de la Macarena province of Meta.
The river is just like any other, until the end of July - November when a species of plant called Macarenia clavigera turns the river a spectra of colors including yellow, green, blue, black, and especially red.
